Well kids, we're almost there. We haven't had any snow yet here in Prince George but some of the surrounding areas and mountains have seen their first dustings.of the white stuff. We know you're all spending the evenings in your garages listening to romantic music while staring at your better halves.
The other thing that happens this time of year is NEW WRAP DESIGNS! We`re exited to bring you a new batch of 8 unique designs that will set you apart on the hill. This year we`ve got mech`s, tiger`s, snow goddess`s and more. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks as there maybe be one or two more stragglers that show up to the party a little late.
Vector Templates Now Available
The other big announcement that we have for this season is that we will be making all of our vector templates available for purchase! We`ve held off on selling templates for a number of years because we felt the quality of our templates, which we make 100% from scratch ourselves, really set us apart for the majority of wrap companies out there. You may not be aware but a HUGE portion of the wrap industry sources their templates from one main company that sells powersports templates. To be frank, these templates leave a lot to be desired and you can tell they are not designed by someone with hands on wrap experience. We decided to build our own so we knew every wrap that left our hands was going to fit the sled bang on and leave our customers super happy with how they fit.
Over the years we have accumulated a solid catalogue of sled templates and we`ve been getting more and more requests from other wrap companies, graphic designers and sign shops to get access to them........and we finally agree THE TIME IS NOW! We`ve started to upload our templates and we are shooting to have them all up on and the site by the end of October. We`ll of course be adding more as we create new ones. If you don`t see what you`re looking for now, odds are it`s coming down the pipe.
We`ve spent countless hours putting these templates together. They are built by people who understand the wrap process from start to finish: setting up designs with proper registration, creating tight nests, understanding the ins and outs of installation, etc. We take great pride in knowing that our finished product always meets a high standard and now you can too.
Note: We also have select quad, sxs and mx templates that we`ll be uploading as well.
More Coverage - We ensure that when we template a machine that no reasonable nook or cranny is left exposed.
Better Fit - We believe if you're going to do a wrap the pieces should fit properly without gaps and that lines and corners should be clean and crisp. Wherever possible our pieces fit within 1/16" - 1/8" of each other and the edge of the panel they are going on. You won't find wobbles or pointy corners (round corners help prevent lifting) in these templates.
Properly Registered - All of our templates come properly registered on screen. This means that when you go to install the printed wrap that your graphics will line up. Because of the complexity of transferring a 2D graphic on to a 3D machine, there are some areas where you can't avoid having graphics not line up. Our templates also include a layer that highlight problem areas so you can make sure no critical design elements end up there. BUT, everywhere where things should line up, they will.
Ease Of Install - During the templating process we have taken end user installs into account. Not all kits are installed by professionals and it's important for your customer to not be overwhelmed with tricky pieces. We've sometimes added extra pieces or reliefs in places that make sense to ensure your wraps are reasonable to install for the average person.
Optimized Nest Layouts - Included in all of our wrap templates are optimized nest layouts. These will help you ensure you are placing your pieces in the print file in a way that will use the smallest sq/ft of media possible.
Free Updates - When we discover areas of improvement on our templates we will update our files and automatically email you an updated download URL with the new version of the template for you.

We're excited to announce that we have recently uploaded a bunch of new stuff to the website! We've thrown 2 new designs on some of the sleds, added some factory color change kits for the Ski-Doo Gen 4 body style and uploaded a bunch of new MotoX kits as well.
Our new Snow goddess graphic was inspired by misty winter nights and the idea of an ice goddess. It features super detailed snowy trees, starry night sky, beautiful snowflakes and an etherial ice goddess floating on her frozen wings. It's displayed below on the Polaris AXYS 155. We have it set up on just the two body styles at the moment but we can move it over to any other body style we support on request.
Next up we have Fresh Prince on the proclimb!
This design was originally put together for a customer who was looking for a bright and colorful color palette but still wanted black as a pre- dominant color as well. It's available in 5 different colorways. As always we can move this over to other makes an models on request.
We've put together a color change kit for the new Ski-Doo G 4 body style! If you're a riders who isn't into the full wrap look but would like to modify your sled to make it a little bit unique, this is your solution! Of course, if you go this route you're going to be powder coating your spindles and rails to match!
With MotoX season quickly approaching our team is working feaverishly working on the back end to upload more designs. We've got 100+ designs that will be uploaded over the next couple months so keep checking back in the MotoX wrap section for more.

www.TheDecalDen.com is an industry leader in providing premium grade wraps for most makes and models of snowmobiles including Ski-doo, Polaris, Arctic Cat and Yamaha.
Just a few exciting developments to let everybody know about.
Big news for Ski-Doo owners as we are just a few days away from having the XS body style ready to go. We also just had a Gen 4 REV sled dropped off at the shop. We'll be templating this bad boy over the next month or so! Keep an eye on the website as we will be launching wraps for both models soon. The XS first and the Gen 4's will follow in a month or 2.
Now that all our 2017 Snowmobile graphic kits are uploaded we are shifting our focus to taking care of all you bike riders. Last spring we purchased the assets of another wrap company who closed their doors and as a result we have a HUGE catalogue of 150+ bike specific designs that will be available for purchase this coming winter. We're shooting to have the MotoX section up and running by mid January. Of course we have all the major players like Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Yamaha and Suzuki covered and there will be support for most models from the niche guys too! We may start putting these up in small batches so check back every once and a while to see what we have.
Proclimb Install Video
One of the main questions we get asked about sled wrap installs is how to do the nose cone pieces on the Arctic Cat Proclimb and M-Series Hoods. We've made this video to help anybody who is tackling this install on their own and want to see how to get them down bubble and wrinkle free.
Thanks for checking in!
We are happy to announce that we are now able to provide wraps for the Polaris AXYS body style. It will be a while before there is a large selection of designs available on the site but we can move any one of our designs you've seen on any other sled over to the AXYS body at request. Check out a few that are rolling off the press and get in touch if you'd like to wrap your own snowmobile.
This is a design we did for Chris Sexsmith who graciously let us borrow his AXYS to set up our template. Chris loves the polished aluminium look so he did just the front end on this PRO 800. This design won't be available for sale to the general market but we might do something similar in the future as we know lovely ladies are always popular. The design features 3 different ladies with a satin cloth background offset by a dark sort of stone looking texture with lighter bands shooting up from them. We're pretty pumped with how well the red white and black color scheme tied in with the seat and rest of the sled colors.
And we've been working with Make Traxx Recreation in Quesnel to get their demo sleds outfitted for the year. We've got 2 of 3 sleds done with the 3rd being a brand new design that we have yet to reveal. Check back for new pics of that one in the near future.
We're always looking for ways to improve the website and we're happy to announce that over the weekend we vastly improved how the sled wrap pricing is displayed on the main site. You can now select all the different combinations of sled wrap "Kit Components" from the drop down menu directly below the product description. The price shown will adjust automatically to show you the price of the combination of snowmobile coverage that you've selected.
There are two wrap kit options which will can be selected that won't affect the price shown at the top of the product page. They are the "Matte (+$49.99)" option and the "Add Installation Kit? (+$29.99)" options. The prices for these options will be displayed at the bottom of the option selection menus and will be added to the total price of you "Kit Components" once you view your shopping cart.
We had fielded a lot of questions in the past about what exactly our kits cost so we're super pumped to roll this change out because we know this will remove a lot of the confusion over what the purchase price of your kit will be.
As always, you can get in touch with us if you have any questions regarding our pricing or wraps. We'll answer your questions as promptly as we can.
As you probably well know, Ski-Doo launched the first factory stock 174 track sleds this year. We've been in and out of our local Ski-Doo dealer, Forest Power Sports (FPS) over the last couple days and now have the template set up for the longer tunnel option. If you're looking for the 174 sled wraps, you can now select that option from the "Select Your Tunnel Size:" drop down menu on any XM product pages.
The staff at FPS also asked us about the possibility of a clear side panel kit for the yellow T3's. The problem they were running into is discolored sidepanels as a result of clutch dust, exhaust, etc. They had a few clients who wanted to keep the stock look but also wanted those stock panels looking as best they could over time. We've figured out a solution and will have clear side panel kits available for the Ski-Doo XM, ArcticCat Proclimb and Yamaha SRV chassis side panels in the near future. It's important to note that it'll be critical to get these kits on your side panels when they are brand new. Since the vinyl is clear you'll be able to see any discoloration that has built up on the panels through the clear protective layer if you wait to put them on
We've been hard at work on templating the RZR chassis'. We've got the '06-'10 chassis and the '11 - 'current chassis ready to rock now and you'll start to see graphic kits pop up on the main site here. We installed "Creeping Death" onto a RZR today and shot a quick walk around for all you reaper fans. Check it out.
Well, with the snow melting away we've been hard at work for the last month templating the Polaris RZR 570 (fits from '11 - Current). Kelly spent some meticulous hours getting the template to fit nice and tight and it really shows in the final product. Being the first Razor that we've done we thought it was only fitting to wrap it with a completely new design. I'd been mulling over ideas for this design theme for quite a few months as I had originally intended to get it set up for the sleds but we've been so busy templating other machines that there hasn't been much time to sit down and bang out any new designs. Incidentally, along with the RZR 570's, the XP, XM, Skandic, SXViper, SRViper, TimberSleds, YZ450R and KXR450 are all set to debut on the site in the near future.
I really wanted to put some effort into a design that wasn't just mirrored on both sides and was extremely detailed and atmospheric. Armed soldiers wearing gas masks, mushroom clouds, radiation symbols, hazard tape, weathered metal and some 'wasteland' style cityscape all came together in a way that makes me giggle like a little school girl. I hope it makes you giggle like a little school girl too. We'll make this design available in multiple color combinations and will transfer it across all of our templates eventually but in the meantime check out the installation process and design:
You can also see this RZR in person at the Northern Explorer Outdoor Adventure Show this weekend: 10am - 5pm Saturday and Sunday April 5th & 6th at CN Center in Prince George BC. Admission is FREE so swing on by and say hello to the crew. Kelly and Travis will be manning TheDecalDen.com booth on Saturday and Chris and myself (Luc) will be taking care of Sunday. Who knows maybe you'll even stumble across a special offer!
We've finished templating the '06 - '11 M Series bodies. Designs will start to pop up on the site starting next week. We have a few M Series installs booked for early next week so keep an eye on our instagram and facebook pages to check out some of the installed designs!
We also found a few hours to knock out a Timbersled Mountain Horse template. Designs for the Timbersled will get set up and loaded as we get requests so if you're looking to wrap your Mountain Horse make sure you get in touch with us.
We are currently working on the Polaris Dragon and the Ski-Doo Rev and they should be available in the coming weeks.
Once we're done the Dragon and Rev we'll be bringing in the XM and a few motoX, ATV and SxS machines.
